As Manager – Commercial Development for Greening Australia and Canopy, he develops strong client and stakeholder relationships to secure investment into our science-led nature-based solutions.

Mitchell brings knowledge in conservation and bushland management, contract expertise, data management and GIS to his role. He has extensive experience liaising between Canopy, Greening Australia and landowners, assisting to develop biodiverse revegetation projects on a national scale.

Liam leads the development of nature-based carbon projects across Australia that restore biodiversity and ecosystem function in partnership with Traditional Owners and rural communities.

Michelle joined Canopy from the environment and water sector, bringing extensive experience in policy and legislation. Michelle provides technical services that contribute to project development and management in aspects such as eligibility and feasibility assessments, assessment of legal right, regulatory compliance, and monitoring.

Betha works in commercial development for Greening Australia and Canopy to secure investment into our science-led, biodiverse carbon projects and nature-based solutions products. She looks after carbon credit sales for Canopy and third-party projects, assessment of new origination opportunities and development of new environmental markets products for clients.

The Canopy team works closely with Greening Australia to develop projects that produce high integrity environmental credits, drawing on their national expertise in science and planning, native seed, ecology, and restoration fieldcraft.

Lynise is a skilled ecologist with a PhD from La Trobe University and 15+ years’ experience working in environmental consulting firms. She spearheads Greening Australia’s Reef Aid program, bringing her end-to-end experience in complex environmental restoration to the delivery of high quality projects improving water quality for the Great Barrier Reef.

Blair has a PhD in Zoology and 20+ years of experience in ecological research, management and consultancy. He leads Greening Australia’s national team of science and planning experts in the design, monitoring and evaluation of ecological restoration, to inform further strategy and research.

Michael works at the interface of all Greening Australia teams to translate good ideas into fundable Nature-Based Solutions that are impact led and can be practically delivered. He has two decades of experience with delivery landscape restoration projects in both the not-for-profit and government sectors, and holds qualifications in Landscape Management and Conservation.
