Offset your emissions
The Canopy Project has made it easy for every Australian to offset their emissions and become carbon neutral.

Transport
Transport accounts for 14% of household greenhouse gas emissions in Australia. Canopy suggests you:
– Pump up your car tyres and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 10%.
– Walk, cycle or catch public transport to cut emissions, save money and get fit.
– Buy a hybrid car or one with a good fuel efficiency and Green Vehicle Guide rating.
– Service your car regularly to help the engine efficiency.
– Share a ride.
– Change to biofuel or LPG
Canopy’s transport partners
Biofuel can be used in existing vehicles with little or no adaptation necessary. In contrast, ordinary gasoline or diesel injects 10 to 20% more CO2 into the atmosphere.
