"The Voluntary Carbon Market and Agriculture Opportunity or Threat?"

The  Commonwealth Government's mandatory emissions trading scheme is on hold until 2013.  Meanwhile, the Australian voluntary carbon market continues to grow steadily.

In 2009 over 6,000,000 carbon credits were sold at up to $40.00 each in the voluntary market.  Under Government standards to be released in July 2010, only landholders will be able to create government-approved carbon credits for the voluntary carbon market. New forests of trees will not be included under the new Government standard-this course will show you what you can do with your land to create carbon value.
